The film documents the efforts of Surfing 4 Peace co-founder Arthur Rashkovan and Gaza Surf Club founder Matthew Olsen to get a shipment of donated surfboards into Gaza. Hardly anything gets into Gaza and even less gets out. Our protagonists are part of the surf community of Gaza City. The Gaza Surf Club was founded in 2008 by Explore Corps to serve as an educational and community development resource for Palestinian surfers in the Gaza Strip. Support for the Surf Club has come in many forms and, thanks to the generosity of fellow surfers and supporters, the Surf Club is making great progress in developing a sustainable Palestinain surfing community.
